From speaking with current UCLA law students, there seems to be a lot of uncertainty.
I say this from the bottom of my heart: You might be the biggest idiot I've seen on LSD. Of course that only spans the three year period I've been on this board. I do not wish you good luck. I wish that you don't go to law school.
I hope he goes to my law school to create a buffer at the bottom of the curve, however if he's an idiot savant I don't think I could stomach getting beat by LawDog.
I find that hard to believe.
My instinct is it seems like when you compare two similar applications, it would look like the kid who took a semester off (even if it was for some kind of legitimate mediocre internship or something)was lazy in comparison to the kid who did not.
If this is, in fact, not advised, how could it compare to the part time option? in a way, taking a class or two might even seem more like a cop-out. At least if you were completely away from school it could be assumed that that the student was doing something as an alternative.
