Wait List / Question about being Wait listed

I was sent a waitlist letter earlier this year and submitted it stating I would like to be on the waitlist.

I just received another waitlist letter to answer whether or not I still want to reserve my spot on the wait list.

Can anyone provide input, thoughts, whether this is a good thing or bad thing for me?

I am happy that I did not get rejected and that they instead sent me another letter to confirm my continued interest to wait on the waiting list, but at the same time Im curious to know if it was bad that I didnt get accepted at this point. It would be informative if I knew how many were waitlisted at this school but I dont.

Do I have a good chance of getting accepted at this point or not?

Studying for the LSAT / Question on Studying for Sept or Dec

Hi All,

I have been studying on and off for the LSAT for a while now. I took the June test and because of my luck I was sick on the day of the test and performed poorly thereby cancelling my score for June.

The thing is is that I am unsure of how to study for the test the next time. Since I already took all of the practice tests to prep for June what do I do now - do I:

1) review LSAT books and then for the last month take prac tests over and over again
2) simultaneously review LSAT books while taking prac tests for the next 2 months

- Also would 3+ hours of studying per day be enough? I work a 9 - 6 mon through fri

I would be very grateful for a detailed response back...thank you to any and all those who reply to this I really appreciate it!!!!!

I was wondering if the experimental section for the June test will likely be on the upcoming Sept test. Is that how the experimentals work?

I was wondering if anybody knows what material the experimental section is on usually. I heard from a friend that the experimental section is usually either a games or LR section?

Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone can help me out on #s 1,3 and 19 on practice test 37 section 2? It's frustrating how badly I struggled through 1 and 3 since they are supposed to be easier...

For #1 I was able to eliminate D and E, but when looking at A, B and C I can see why each one of those would justify that beginning mediation late would be ineffective...and for the others....I actually have no comments on those....

Well anyways, I hope studying is going well for everybody and I look forward to hearing any feedback from any one on these problemos...goodnight then

Hi everyone,

I was having trouble on a few problems and was hoping to get some feedback as to why the correct answer is correct and the wrong ones wrong for the following problems.

June 2006 LR section 2

#17 - This is the problem that talks about Humans being complex....I chose A and forgot the rationale behind my decision. A was correct by the way. Why are B and C wrong especially and how is A right?

#16 - I chose wisely yet again, but how are A and C wrong.

#7 Please explain why E is correct and why the others are wrong.....

Thanks in advance by the way to whomever helps me out with this, well actually this is kinda helping everyone out because in essence it is still problem review (hehe - lol)

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone can help me on these 2 problems. In section 4 LR problem 17 I was wondering why answer choice D was wrong, although I know why C is correct.

Lastly in section 4 LR of PT 30 - how is A correct for #20?

To Jerz - that story really raised my spirits. Thank you for the excellent advice, I will actually apply that when June heads closer. I also think that this test is very much a mental test/struggle. You are def. lucky to have such a supportive circle.

I believe that's why I have been so much in despair and hopelessness because my ex-boyfriend and his whole family that I have always been around for the past 6+ months(well not his whole family - just his bro, sis and dad) keep telling me they think I will never get above a certain score...and even that they dont think I'd pass the bar or get into a school. We have now broken up - good riddens! Anyway...

So even though I know that I should really develop the tough cheeks to be strong independently, I will read this thread everytime I get down in the dumps to help get me back on track...

To Mashael - I say keep at it...and this advice also goes to myself because I feel exactly as you do so....keep at it because you can only run into the same door so many times before you learn...and also we both have nothing to lose. If we keep practicing and most importantly studying the right way it's not like we'll get any worse at this, we'll likely improve! Thanks for your support guys ~ Candylover

Oh and did I mention I cried as well? Well for the record ... I did. For days and days...if anyone even asked about the LSATs I'd start tearing up...let's hope I never relive those tearful moments
