lex, just out of curiousity, are you currently in law school? I'm somewhat new so I am trying to understand all perspectives on this board. Most are from people who, like me, are applicants waiting, but most importantly the ones I pay close attention to are ones who went through this in years past.

In reference to Malle, I think that you will be ok with those numbers depending on how everything else looks. Good luck to you b/c I have applied there as well. As far as John Galt, I am feeling the same frustration as you are with HU. Part of it is just me being anxious, but the other part is wondering what is going on. I met the dean at the Houston forum and he said they had already started requesting reports and reviewing (this was 2 weeks ago). I'm still very interested, but also worried.....

alright....I am 28 right now and I'll be a young, fresh 32 when I finish. Some of my coworkers know that I am applying to LS, but I am not sure if my boss even cares. Big news is that I do not care, lol. I will probably give 2-4 weeks notice so they can get someone in to replace me b/c I work with a large client group.
I read someone's law school visit review and it was great. I have a friend in the business grad program so I think I'll come up and visit after the New Year. I am hoping that I find something out soon thereafter. Is anyone coming from Houston? Does anyone already live in Lubbock? 1625

Here's a little info on me. I am not applying only to TTU, I have also applied to UH, SMU, Texas, and S. Texas (a few others outside of Texas). I am currently working full time, graduated from UG in '99, and have a masters degree. I haven't rec'd a complete notice from them, but I emailed the admissions counselor just to check in.
I talked to a 2L and someone in the admissions office at the Houston forum and got some great information on the school. The 2L gave great insight on job prospects, life in Lubbock, the great atmosphere at TTU, and what his first year was like. I am VERY impressed with the Red Raiders! Because I am working full time I want some more info on "special circumstances" for financial aid. This wonderful salary that I am making will be null and void come July/August and I dont want that considered as I will be a broke student again!! Hahaha 1626

Wow!!! Its good to see so many interested students who are applying for fall 2006 at TTU. I am just getting started on this thread, but I am already excited about the possibilities of attending Tech. I do not have anything new to say that hasn't been said but here is my application info:

Hey, just to piggy back off of your frustration with Howard!!! Have they requested yoru LSDAS report? I applied with them...ooooh its been over a month...and they haven't requested anything. I talked to the Dean at the Houston forum and he said that this should have been done. Hmmm....what's going on over at HUSL? Or shouild I just be patient??
