Where should I go next fall? / low gpa . . . does it REALLY matter?

I am currently at a university that I absolutely hate. Why? because it is in a place that is full of crime, bar fights, etc. Last year, a student died as a result of a gun shot wound in a bar downtown. It's a depressing place and commuting sucks if you don't have a car.
Because of that my gpa is really suffering. I started very high with a 3.64 in the first semester and it's dropping and dropping. Now I think I am going to graduate with a 3.3 gpa now that is very low considering that my dream school is Boston University law school.
Any advice? I plan to take the LSAT soon and if I aim at around 170+, would that matter? I am so depressed right now and I fell hopeless to bring up my gpa because I only have a semester to go.
