Getting old people off AOL is simply impossible.  My parents don't even use it anymore, but won't get rid of it.

Awesome plan.  When you start school there next fall, everyone's going to think that you married your cousin  ;) ;)

Lol.  Probably.

Knowing that I might get a response in time, I'm putting out an opinion question.

I have to attend an accepted students dinner this evening.  It's being hosted by current students, and my fiance cannot come.  I tend to be very shy in these kinds of situations, so I want to bring a friend and pretend he's my cousin.

Is this kind of wrong?

I'd bring your friend and just say he's your friend, but it looks like I'm late. What did you wind up doing?

I brought him and said he was my cousin.  The funniest thing was that we were both wearing flannel and jeans that day and went straight from work to the event.  We looked like such hipsters.

I felt like I had to fib a little because the event was at a relatively pricey restaurant and the invite was a little weird.  They encouraged you to bring a guest, but discouraged parents and did not exactly say friends should come.  The invite pretty much said "bring your spouse, partner or significant other."  Ultimately about half the people RSVPed yes and did not come, so it didn't matter at all.

Off to Philly today to visit Penn. Should be fun!

Have fun and enjoy!  There's a very good chance that I'll be in Philly next year too.  It's a good city.

Occasionally, I question my life and if I really should quit my somewhat okay job to go to law school.  I would like to thank today for reminding me that I cannot stand my job and quitting will be glorious when the time comes.

Also, can someone explain the UK logo?  I don't really get it either

Clearly many people out there with a boatload of free time

http://www.shamrockshake.com/

It is kind of curious that mcdonald's doesn't mass distribute the Shamrock Shake when it is so popular people reduce themselves to websites like this. My excitement yesterday was more based on the fact that I can't remember the last time I saw one, let alone had one! Guess it's all about the hype

It's so beautiful outside and it's St. Patrick's Day.  My attention span is at zero.

Already got my Shamrock shake.

WHERE?!  There's one in Union Square but I'm not going down there today.
