where are you Alaska?
It's snowing here again...
Nope. Mountain West.
The Mountain West is amazing like that. Of course, this week in NJ we had sleet, and it's expected to hit 85 degrees by Saturday, so I sort of feel like I live out there (but without the lovely scenery).

Anyway, it's nice to have the old exile back with multiple postings a day! I guess having everyone simultaneously chained to their computers for finals is a good thing after all.
I knowww it's kind of delightful
I've never seen Glee
I like it! I haven't seen every episode and am not addicted or anything, but it's quite delightful.
I might be a little addicted, as evidenced by the fact that I am actually waiting for it to be 9pm.

I bet drinks on skiball yesterday. I forgot how fun skiball can be. I mean, it's really a fun time.
I agree wholeheartedly... I grew up playing skiball on the pier at OOB...
it is the best game ever. one of my favorite date nights is going to the boardwalk and playing skee ball.

I suppose it really depends on an individual's maturity. I have always been mature for my age (or so others tell me), but I think I gained a lot of personal independence when I was 17, which made me much more capable of handling college. I had a lot of problems during my first three years of high school that didn't resurface in college, and I definitely believe my senior year of high school helped in that transformation.
I don't always understand parents who push their kids to start college at very young ages. It can't be easy being significantly younger than anyone else on campus, and you need to be mature enough to take the initiative to study on your own, wake up and go to class, and simply handle the issues that arise in college. I'm a firm believer that a strong college experience will educate people both academically AND socially.

The dress didn't seem that bad but it definitely went below the breastbone, which is apparently a violation. I'm mostly amused by paddling as a form of punishment.
