I was on the waitlist, just got an acceptance letter last week. Dont think I will be going though, waaaay to hard to find a decent place to live with such short notice. Damn expensive too, no monies offered.

Chapman offered a renewable 20% scholarship, I know it isn't huge but it does cut down the after-school debt by almost $32,000 which is alot of money especially considering I am doing this on my own and with loans.
I know Loyola has a better reputation, but I would rather live and work in OC than LA. With that being the case, am I screwing myself if I choose Chapman instead? Would Loyola still give me a better edge in OC than Chapman would?

I think you should also consider what kind of law interests you at this point. It might be hard to figure that out right now, but the laws schools have different strengths. Southwestern is a good entertainment law school and has a lot of alumni practicing in that field. Chapman is good with tax, entertainment and business/real estate, and SF is good with public interest and IP (not as good as Santa Clara, but pretty good)...
Well, I just got accepted form the waitlist at Loyola, and a lot of factors are coming into play in now trying to decide between Chapman and Loyola. I don't want to screw myself as far as potential for first year salary might go, I do not want to work and would prefer not ot live in LA.
I have 3 days to decide between Loyola and Chapman. Chapman has offered a 20% scholarship, its not a lot but it still bring my debt/tuition down almost $35k when considering going to Loyola at $40k a year. The living situation around Chapman is also MUCH better than Loyola. Some of you probably think it is a no-brainer, but some honest opinions as quick as possible would be greatly appreciated.

Ok, so I already have all my papers and what not in for Chapman and Loyola sends me an ack. from the Waitlist saying I was accepted...I dont know what to do. Loyola presents a lot of logistical problems but I need to know...what are the opinions here? Any from experience? Please let me know quickly if you can....

So...is there any objective way to evaluate which is a better school of the three?
USF offered a modest first year scholarship, Chapman and Southwestern offered none. However, Im going to be in debt anyway so I am trying to find out which school would be the most beneficial overall. Loyola waitlisted me, unfortunately...does anyone have any advice on the matter?
