Is anyone that is planning on attending The Ohio State University also applying for the Moritz Scholarship?
Also, does anyone have information on past recipients(ie. lsat, gpa, ec's)?

Let me add my own Akron question....
Should I go to Akron with full tuition, or go to OSU with only $5k (leaving 10K to pay). Keep in mind that I would like to end up working in Northeast Ohio (Cleveland). I am leaning toward taking on the debt and going to OSU, but i thought id try and get someone else's opinion.

I'm in IN, actually. Where are you at?
Surprisingly, that question has a fairly long answer. Currently I am living and working in DC, but I am from Cleveland (lived there my whole life until '05), and will (most likely) be moving to Columbus to attend The Ohio State University in the fall. Where are you in Indiana? Iíve been to Indianapolis a few times to Play against Butler and Iíve been to Marion to visit a friend of mine.

One year ago I lived in Columbus, OH and worked at a job I hated. Today, I live in Cincy/Dayton, and work at a job I love.
I didn't realize you were that (relatively) close to me!
More Ohioans, how exciting!

From what I hear, Akron is pretty well respected in North East Ohio. Especially for IP, but less so for corporate. If you are at the top of your class at Akron, it shouldnt be a problem to get a good job.

i agree.... unless, of course, you were just there on vacation. But, I somehow doubt that.

I realized I wanted to make more money, make a bigger impact, and that I really hated children
I was planning on getting married this coming June.
I was going to be a special ed teacher.
I'd never heard of the LSAT..
what changed your mind?
Wow, good thing you realized that before you became a teacher....What brought you to that conclusion?

On a related OSU topic... Are any of you admitted folks attending either the scholarship weekend or any of the other open houses? I was invited to the scholarship weekend, but cannot attend. I think I will have to wait till the April open house to go visit.
