Very good question--I'm thinking maybe people are splitting these apartments like crazy? like a one bedroom for 3 people? I'm thinking I'll be able to do a lot better elsewhere. And sign me up for GULC 09 as well, I sent in my UMich and NU withdrawals this week. Even though I'm still waiting on places, I'm sending in my deposit very very shortly. 26

Waitlisted at NYU yesterday--no one told me the waitlists were coming in a huge envelope! so I was slightly disappointed based on envelope size alone, heh.

I came to visit during the school year and asked to meet with a student, take a tour or observe the class. They said no one was available and I could take a "self guided tour." Michigan said the same thing to me when I called and tried to schedule a good time to visit the school this april (I couldn't make the admit days which were scheduled during the week). I was like, can you at least check, and they took my number, said they'd have someone call back and never did. 29

finally got my Georgetown finaid offer yesterday, and a letter about a minority program for summer starters at UMich. Georgetown offer was slightly inferior to Michigan's but nothing dealmaking or breaking...but nothing from the four schools who've yet to let me know. |
