I know Loyola (LA) has one professor who has banned laptops as well... He states it on his website (all the class websites with syllabi, notes, etc. are available on Loyola's main site). I do find that a little bit annoying, but I see his point...

Loyola LA

And actually, if anyone IS in need of an apartment/house... PM me.

To those who are seriously considering - are we supposed to turn in the fin aid form now with the chosen private lenders, even if we're not 100% sure about attending?  Or will it still be ok to turn it in around mid-april? I want the funds to be available when school starts.

I already turned mine in. I figured better to get it over with immediately, whether or not I do end up attending.

Is anyone planning on attending?

95% sure it's where I'll be going. Though if Southwestern gives me a scholarship, I may end up there. I don't know...

I applied after Thanksgiving and heard back in early January.

I double majored in Criminology and Psychology, and minored in Biology.

I started out a computer science major... Decided it wasn't for me... after barely surviving my discrete math class, and realizing I would have 3 more years of that kind of stuff. :P

What is USD? South Dokota? Do they place well in Minneapolis?

University of San Diego.

And I don't know... I might take the scholarship. I suppose it depends on where you want to live, and what your current financial situation is like.

I chose not to apply to Pepperdine because they didn't have a PT program... I have no intention to stop working. But to have a FT program plus tuition paid sounds very nice to me...
