can someone link me to the original essay?

This is year 2008. I'm really surprised some parts of America are still severely disconnected. Way to keep ignorant deeper into ignorance Oklahoma.

I can't wait. I can already see my life going to ruin...

Bloom, why are you so surprised?  Voting yes to Prop 8 doesn't make you a caveman - just a moral conservative.

What's "moral" about a man marrying a woman? Where do you get this idea?

Ummm... I couldn't imagine it'll be a big issue.  I'd order new transcripts.  However, I doubt it's imperative.

isn't degree award mandatory for applying to law schools?

Right now, I am in the process of starting a non-profit organization geared at helping children of incarcerated parents because my parents are currently serving time in jail since I was 15 years old.

Focus on making this a success - this is the kind of thing law schools eat up.  Don't do anything else.

Law schools will be surprisingly uninterested in your other experience.

x2. This is your ticket to Yale.

Based on these ballot measures, I think Nebraska is the most backward. They decided to ban any affirmative action. Now, while I do believe that some states like California, New York, and even Michigan, can afford these types of measures, Nebraska can't - It's dominantly suburban Christian male whites. White males in Nebraska do not face the same equality challenges as blacks and females. Besides, Andy Roddick is from Nebraska and this mofo hasn't won a tournament since Mandy Moore became famous. Colorado is on a verge of same fate, but it seems like their version of affirmative action is at the moment leaning towards No.
