Oh woah!  Rainn Wilson (Dwight Schrute) is on this episode of SVU playing a sort of paranoid/neurotic janitor.  He basically is Dwight on the episode, just more jittery.

People aren't inherently identifiable.  However, if one doesn't block their e-mail address, links their LSN, and posts identifiable information like school, major, home state, interests etc; adcoms can make fairly accurate deductions.  Furthermore, most anecdotal evidence supports the notion that they won't search you for the fun of it.  It's more when one comes off as obnoxious in general - and to the school in specific - do adcoms background check.

So VB, be honest. Please tell me you sat for the LSAT on your brother's behalf.

Twin brothers. Milk it.

We really thought about it ;) We almost did it for the ACT though. But he ended up scoring almost as highly as I had.

And if you got caught, I bet BYU wouldn't have disciplined you as hard as your previous "transgression"

LOL! Americans amuse me greatly.

There's a big contingent of Mormons in southern Alberta. They invaded in the late 1800s ;)

I'm sure that took an awful lot of man power - y'know, to invade Canada.  ::)

Law School Applications / Re: send app now or wait for score?
« on: December 09, 2009, 09:16:43 AM »
Depends on how much money you have to blow.  If you're not really financially constrained, apply now to a wide range of schools.  If app costs is a serious issue for you - you could apply late and expect some less than desirable results.  In that case, if you have something to do for a year, it might be best to apply early the following cycle.

Even if they don't ask, I believe that most schools still merge your file from last year.  However, I don't believe that schools will know if you applied unsuccessfully.  They might be privy to the date which you signed up for LSDAS but there will be a bit of inference involved on their part.  That said, I couldn't imagine it would put you in any form of a disadvantage.  Particularly to schools who you haven't applied to yet.

FYI, mormons aren't Americans.

I think that I've decided against sleeping tonight.

I've never told a racist joke in my life.

Then you apparently haven't lived yet...

Thales, mind deleting my quote from there?  I don't want any proof of my appalling racism.
