Acceptances, Denials, and Waitlists / LSU Waitlist!!!!!
« on: March 19, 2009, 04:59:43 PM »
Anyone else here waitlisted at LSU or was waitlisted in the past? They told me that they will start pulling from the list after April 1st since that is the first deposit date. I hope I get in because it is much cheaper than Loyola!

Choosing the Right Law School / 75/25 question.....

If I am above the 25% LSAT and at the median for UGPA, what are my chances of getting in to this program? I am applying to a part time program with early decision. I am thinking I will be waitlisted, but let me know what you guys think.

Is SMU's ED binding or not?

Yeah, I read that, but I guess I just don't know how to interpret those numbers exactly. Those numbers can be hollow or skewed in any way SMU wants to. Thats why I was asking people that attend the school or have recently been accepted. Thanks

I have been monitoring the posts on here and some people make it seem like it is easy, especially with early decision, to get in part time. I was under the impression that a 162 would get you into full time.

Choosing the Right Law School / Good enough for SMU part time?
« on: October 05, 2008, 09:55:56 PM »
I have a 3.48 gpa and am currently awaiting my october LSAT score, my question is what kind of score do I need to get to get in to the part time program at SMU? I am going part time because I have a family and am making good money in the oil industry, but this job is not forever.  My point is, I am not just trying to "backdoor" my way into a school.  Are there any SMU law students out there that are in the part time program with any insight? I am also applying for early decision too.

I am also looking at SMU Law Evening Program. I have a 3.48, played an NCAA sport, and I am about to take the October LSAT. What do you guys think is the lowest I can get to assure acceptance? 157, 158, 159? Thanks for the input.
