General Board / Re: Can one transfer from Whittier to better schools?

Retake LSAT and reapply next year instead.

Whittier won't admit you with a LSAT score below 155, so I don't think the poster is going to Whittier because of their low LSAT.

Pretty sure there's nowhere to transfer but up. Also, if you want any schools like UCLA or better, you will definitely have to be top 5%, more likely top 2-3% to have a real shot. I doubt top 10% would cut it.

Aren't prosocuters considered almost like cops? Aren't cops banned from convictions?

No idea. Again, my guess is that if you can pass the bar, then you're good to go. If you want better info, call a prosecutor or talk to someone at your law school.

If you can pass the bar, then likely yes.

When did people start giving transfer advice without knowing the person's stats?

OP, terrible first post.

Pretty sure no one really gave any substantive advice.

So far I've gotten into BC, GW, and UCLA. Do I have a shot at CLS or Penn? I haven't applied yet, but I figured I might drop an application to both schools because what's another $160 in the grand scheme of things.

Sure hope you applied already.
