Law School Applications / Re: I need to vent.
« on: December 08, 2005, 02:54:33 PM »
There's a trend forming here. Are both of you from different UG's? If so, the hold up may be at Brooklyn and not at your respective UG's.

Just a thought...

P.S. For future reference, one post per topic will suffice.

Are you going to post this in every forum and sub-forum available?

Law School Applications / Re: What's your undergrad school's average LSAT?

UConn - 151  >:( I didn't know my fellow classmates were that stupid.

I'm part of that stupid group, but what I find funny is that UCONN breeds us with a 151 average and then won't accept us into their law school...

Where should I go next fall? / Re: Tier 3 and 4 Aceptances and Rejections

Well just think... You and I are subjecting ourselves to the Adcom gods and begging to continue the rigors of learning, working to support ourselves, etc., etc... Kinda funny when you think about it. We complain about this sh!t, and now we're trying to prolong it by going back to school.

I wish you luck on your finals. Sorry I couldn't answer your questions about Stetson vs. NYLS, but I was blinded by your beauty!..

Denials / Re: Ding @ Quinnipiac

Thanks for the kind words! I'm not really upset about being dinged @ THE Q. What makes it bad is that it was my first reply. Quinnipiac would have been nice for the convenience of proximity and being able to stay home while attending school, but my number one choice is Western New England to take part in their Small business clinic and Real Estate Practicum (if they allow me undertake both). If I can get accepted there, everything'll be all good!

Appreciate the support everyone! I'll be sure to keep people posted as the saga of sub-par LSAT man continues!

Law School Applications / Re: Safety versus Reach - 25% and 75%
« on: November 30, 2005, 09:21:48 AM »
Based on what I've read in this topic, I was hoping I can generate some feed back as to what my situation might be classified as (e.g. target, reach, etc)

My #'s are 3.1 and 149. I've got a few soft factor's but lets leave them out of the equation for simplicity.

I'd like to attend (1) Western New England or (2) New England, both have part-time numbers at 3.1 median and LSAT 25th: 148 - 75th: 152.

I need to work during school to pay the bills so this actually works for me should I recieve an acceptance.

Feed-back and constructive criticism is appreciated.

Thanks!

I took the course.. I don't think it was bad as my score did rise. It was just luck of the draw on test day. I wasn't overly nervous or anxious, it was just a poor performance on my part.

If things don't go well this round, I'd like to try a different prep course. Is Powerscore offered in Connecticut?
