Purely, as an example - it is possible - though I'd recommend applying to lower ranked schools.

My stats are 146, 149 LSAT, 3.1 LSAC GPA, not a URM, though I am of European decent. 2 years WE.

I applied to PT programs where available.

I have been accepted to Western New England in Massachusetts.

Waitlisted at New England in Boston and Albany Law School.

I'm still waiting to hear from Pace.

It is possible - see what happens this year. If things don't work out, revise your list of schools next year and try again. Remember to apply early. I applied in October. The earlier, the better.

Keep your head up. Good luck on the rest of your cycle.

Acceptances / Re: In at WNEC!

I do plan on attending the open house on 4/8. I've visited the school in the past and met with students and faculty - I got the impression that the school is extremely friendly - everyone seems like they'd be more than willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. I've also heard great things about the job prospects in CT (I live in CT). The way things stand now - it looks as though I'll be attending WNEC come this fall, though I'll be in the PT evening program (can't afford to not work for 3 years).

Where are you from? Maybe I'll see you at the open house.

Is anyone here considering attending? They're having an open house in April. Maybe I'll see some of you there.

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / Re: Vehicles in law school

Japanese cars are nice if you share the mentality that a vehicle is strictly for going from point A to B. Get a nice German car if you have a passion for driving. You will not regret it.

Law School Applications / Re: Lem dies!?!???

Say hello to the beginning of the end.

The show went into syndication earlier this week with Spike TV.

I predict that the next season of the Shield will be the last.

Lem will come back as a "spirit" only seen to Shane a.k.a Cletus Van Damme and play on his conscience. Vic will spend the next season searching for Lem's killer, and when he finds out it's Shane, Vic will kill him. At that point Vic will turn himself in and confess to everything (the money train, killing Terry, etc.). He'll be prosecuted, convicted, jailed, and Ronnie will go free as Vic will protect him. Clean cut and simple.

My stats going into this cycle are 3.1 UGPA, 146 & 149 LSAT.

I was accepted to Western New England Law.

I'm first generation American, Polish decent.
Attended and graduated from the John Paul II Foreign Language Academy (8 year program in Polish culture, language and history)
Speak English and Polish
2 years work experience in licensed product and business development

I catered my essay to the strength of the school's that I applied to.

WNEC is having their open house for admitted student on April 8th. Is anyone here going to attend?

Where should I go next fall? / Where is Albany's decision?
« on: March 06, 2006, 10:29:06 PM »
Has anyone else on this board been waiting forever for Albany to make a decision on his/her file? My file has supposedly been under review since DECEMBER! Everytime I call/email I get the same B.S. - "It's under review" - I can't pull any other information from them.. My scores are poor and I don't expect an acceptance, but for the love of God -- DING MY ASS ALREADY!!! It's been over 4 MONTHS!!!

Thanks for listening.
