Law School Admissions / Resume format
« on: September 14, 2008, 04:26:32 PM »
I'm looking for advice on my resume.  I graduated 10 years ago and want to highlight my time in management.  Should I use bullet points to list my responsibilities or write them out in paragraph form?  I want to be as descriptive as possible but still keep the resume down to 1 page.  Any thoughts on what adcomms prefer?

I have both a PS and addendum and would like feedback for both from anyone who is willing.  I'll be glad to trade with anyone, as well.

Just let me know and I'll PM/email copies.

Thanks!!

I am ready to start sending applications but I want to make sure both LSAT scores are considered.  I've noticed on some school websites that they do not begin making decisions until 11/01 (or later).  Is this standard?  Can I start submitting apps now, or should I wait until later in October (after the test is done)?

Current Law Students / Baylor- complete law school in 27 months???
« on: September 03, 2008, 08:19:03 PM »
I'm applying for the 2008-09 cycle and was hoping to get some advice from current students.  I'm a nontraditional student, graduated in '98 and have been working for 10 years.  I have a family and I am intrigued by the literature Baylor sends that talks about completing law school in 27 months.  I was wondering just how feasible that is, given the difficulty of the law school experience.

Also, I'm interested in working in Dallas/Houston for a large firm and was wondering how difficult getting those jobs would be if I didn't participate in an SA program.

Is anyone here on this type of "fast track", and how are you managing it?

Thanks for the feedback!
