How is your relationship with your classmates in and outside of academia? Is it a collegial environment?

Did you apply ED? And when did your application go complete?

for anyone who got accepted to Gtown:

Was your status changed to 'decision' before or after you received your letter in the mail?

I have a friend who had a 3.0 / 162 and he got into Rutgers Camden, Penn State, and Suffolk.  He also got into St. John's and Brooklyn Law. Not a URM, and no special EC.  But I think he had a really good PS.

So I think you have a good shot at many of those schools you listed.

Have you been preparing at all? If not, definitely postpone.

wow good job.  i have started like that and increased by 20 pts as well.  keep at it!

Personal Statements, Resumes, and Letters of Recommendation / new LORs
« on: September 09, 2008, 12:09:19 PM »
i was going to apply 2 years ago when i was a senior in college, and had gotten all of the LORs ready.  but i ended up taking a couple years off to re-take my lsats and such.

i realized in one of the letters (the prof showed me a copy), he wrote the specific dates. for example he wrote "i recommend this candidate for the class of 2009" etc..

do you think i have to go and re-ask all of my recommenders to revise their letters just incase they had done something like that? or would law schools understand that some of my LORs are from before when i was a student at school 2 years ago..

Choosing the Right Law School / Re: Best school for NYC biglaw?

I used to work at a nyc biglaw as a paralegal.

I say I've seen more Michigan/Northwestern over Duke/Cornell attorneys.
