In the end, the big thing is going to be what your GPA is, not what your major was. With that said, you might get a slight bump or special consideration from admission counselors who realize that your degree courses were more difficult than say basket weaving, but its not going to save you or your GPA. Especially if they are comparing you directly with another applicant with a identical GPA/LSAT, you might get the nod over the other applicant. But in general, the consensus is that it doesn't matter.
