Law School Applications / Should I apply?

I am wondering what other people think of clinical programs? Are they an important factor in choosing a law school if you know what area of law you want to practice? For instance, I am interested in pursuing a career in child advocacy, and have applied to a couple schools with programs that match my interest. I just received a fee waiver from South Carolina, and had never though about going to school there, but it is the home of the Children's Law Center. Should I apply?

Just looking for some opinions. 4 of the schools I applied to have not sent me an email confirming that they received my application. The apps were sent between Nov 24-26. Should I call or email the schools to verify that they have in fact received my apps or should I just wait? The schools are Illinois, Seattle, Lewis and Clark, and Quinnipiac.

Okay, so I have one more question. If I send in my apps now, how can I direct LOR's to schools later. I already have 1 LOR in, and am waiting on 2 more. I want to send 3 to all of the schools, but some only require 2. Is there a way to send all 3 at a later date? If so, how do I do that?

Okay, it seems as if everybody has all of their apps in already, and I'm starting to freak out because I am still waiting on two of my LOR's. Is there any way to submit the apps now and have the LOR's sent when they arrive? Should I even be concerned? Just need some advice on what I should do in this situation.

I had two RC sections, and was disappointed when I found out the easy one was the experimental. I could have done so much better if the RC hadn't been so difficult.

Recommendations / LOR from Profs at old school?

Wondering what others think about getting a LOR from a professor at the school I transferred from. I transferred to my current school at the beginning of my Junior year and prior to that I had attended community college. Would it be wise to get a LOR from a CC professor since they know me on a much more personal level or should I stick with profs from my current school?

Also, one of the profs I'm considering at my current school isn't actually a prof. I am not sure of her title, but she has made it clear that she is not a prof. Should I still use her? I feel she knows me better than any of the other profs here.

Lastly, I have military experience. Any idea if it's a good idea to get a LOR from a military JAG officer whom I have worked closely with for years?
