Yay. The efaan was there for me too. I feel like I just signed my life away though  :-\

"Wait . . . your financial aid is under review. You will receive an e-mail notice beginning late July in your University e-mail account when your awards are available for your online response."

It's the 28th...does anyone else feel like this is sort of late?

I have the Targus 17" messenger bag and I do NOT recommend it. It's almost 10lbs empty.  :(

I happen to have a 10lb laptop as well so before I already have 20lbs on my shoulder without books.

Just realized that I'm moving NEXT week! Holy crap! ...totally snuck up on me and now i'm a little freaked out. Where did the summer go?

Si si.

Moral of this whole drawn out thread could possibly be: stop reading this board, get a life, do the readings, eat well, rest plenty, maybe even exercise, and NEVER go on a discussion board talking about how you just have "it".
After all, we all have "it"; it's called poo.

If anyone can help a brother out finding an apartment for me and my wife.  Moving around Aug. 18th or so, want to live in Uptown or Northeast (or near the west bank campus, if need be).

If anyone has come across apartments that they've liked, but weren't quite right or whatnot, I'd appreciate some leads.  Been checking Craigslist and other resources, but it's slow going and I won't get a chance to visit before signing the lease.

I found extremely helpful. has pictures and contact info for properties...and they'll give you a $100 gift card if you do sign a lease for a place you find on the site.

Just beware that will STALK you after a while - calling and everything - to see if you signed somewhere (I think they charge the properties if sign with them.)

Yay for getting orientation info!

I still haven't gotten mine -- maybe it'll come today. Does it tell you what section you're in?

Oh nono... I just got an email saying that the orientation info has been sent and another that said "Hey you can see your scholarship info on MyU or Onestop!"

Yay for getting orientation info!

I've been haunting the law school website hoping to get info about orientation. I saw a link to the Minnesota Justice Foundation pre-orientation service project. (here is the link) It looks interesting, and since I'm moving to Minneapolis on August 1st I'll be able to go. Anyone else planning to do this?

Any word on what this year's project will be?
