I am nontraditional and decided to use them.  I also applying to only a limited number of schools b/c I don't want to move and I only want top tier if I am going to do this.

I'd read Anna Ivey's book, but I think that should really be all you need beyond LSN, LSD, TLS, and your college's pre-law advisor.

what is TLS?  also, i don't have a college pre-law advisor since i've been out of school 15 years.

Not sure, but I think the standard is times new roman 12.  I did 11.5 and made the margins a little smaller to keep my PS to 2 pages though.
