Out at Illinois. After sitting on "hold" for the past few weeks received a rejection letter dated the 15th. I am not too disappointed, I was about to withdraw anyway. Honest I was....

That sucks that the Assistant Dean would do that, but I would really hold my judgement of the school until you have actually visited. Like others have said often the administration and the school itself have two totally different personalities.
And on the positive side, no matter what you think of the school you still have plenty of alternates to fall back on. Good luck and I hope your visit goes well. |
