Law School Admissions / Re: Open Message to Third Tier T*ilets

So, if you apply to one of these places as a safety, using their fee waiver, and the application asks, "How did you hear about our law school?" do you be honest and write "junk mail" ?

I'd *almost* be willing to fork out the $12 to LSAC for Yet Another Score Report for the sole reason of doing this.

I don't get it.  Personally, I love getting snail mail love from all these random schools (hell, anything that's not a bill, a catalog, or pure junk mail is unusual and noteworthy for me).  And when I get a fee waiver, it's like finding something really cool in your box of Cracker Jack!  Even if I have no intention of ever applying to any of them, it's nice to know that they love me... it gives me hope that just maybe one of the schools that I love will return the sentiment and LET ME IN, DAMMIT!

i love this club. i love you guys. will you be my friends?

i propose that we allow those with 170+ LSATs if they have below a 3.0 GPA. i feel like we're leaving out some worthy causes.

Finally, someone not hating on those of us who drank our way through undergrad, and then studied like hell for the LSAT.  Bro, if you ever need to worship Ralph the Porcelain God, I'll be there to hold your hair back.

My GPA is under 25% at every single school to which I'm applying.

Fortunately my LSAT is well over 75% at every school to which I'm applying.

Where am I getting in?  No freaking clue.

The campus is gorgeous, Durham is actually a very nice city to live in, and T14 is T14, you shouldn't have trouble placing from there to anywhere you want to go.  Not to mention you'll get to spend three years watching the finest college basketball in the land.

Ignore the Tarhole and his second-class edumacation.  Jealousy is never pretty.

Law School Admissions / Re: Applications: Paper or Electronic

According the LSAC, they sent out my paper copies the next day... FWIW.

I was originally going to do all my apps in paper, but doing them electronically just turned out to be too easy... plus I don't have to worry about some student lackey misspelling my name when they transcribed it or something dumb like that.

Me too.  Still have one LOR to pester, but all my apps have been transmitted, all the checks are in the mail (ouch), and now I just start working on biting my fingernails...

Illinois by email, Indiana and George Mason via snail mail.

As long as you don't slag on the other party too much, you should be okay.  At least I hope so, because mine was all about my experience on a campaign.  Of course, you had to read all the way to the end to even find out which party it was for (of course, you could also tell from my resume...)

Why, LSAC, why?  Why do you hate me so?
