Non-Traditional Students / Re: Sell the house or try to keep it?
« on: May 31, 2008, 09:31:50 AM »
my husband and I are selling our place... and we'd be willing to take just enough so that we don't LOSE money on the condo.  yeah it sucks to lose on an investment, but law school is another investment, so we're moving from one to the next.  some people rent and some people sell, it's a personal decision.

Better PS.

No Shite.  Although I must say, Pennylane proofed mine and liked it.  Validation to some extent?

I'm sure it wasn't *&^%, I'm just saying it really has to be outstanding.  You should have gotten into Suffolk with your numbers, and had a shot at NEU.

the deadline was yesterday - did you make a choice?

I paid my $500 deposit to UCLA. It doesn't mean I'm going.

http://www.law.gwu.edu/Burns/Research/libsvcs/lawbib/readinglist.htm

"We have here assembled for you, whatever the length of your legal experience, titles where the law figures in literature and cinema. Whether you are just starting out as a new student, are currently in law school, or are out in the field, anyone intrigued by the law may turn here to find titles to engage you, whether for work or pleasure. "

That's an insane list.

Worked for me at Michigan!  :)

I've thought about doing that this year at Michigan. What are your numbers?

I just don't know if I want to take a year off. It'd be giving up a decent scholarship at a great school and giving up a year to do something I don't want to do because I am so totally ready to start law school now.

I so feel this.
