General Board / what to get out of a mentorship specifically?

I got a mentor assigned to me from a local bar association I joined, and we had lunch this week.  He's a partner at a BigLaw firm in DC, really nice guy.  I just figured we could just be "friends" ya know and if I needed advice I'd give him a ring.  But he asked me specifically if there's anything I want to get out of the mentorship.  Any idea?  I was just going to play it by ear, but since he asked specifically, and asked me to think about it, I thought it wasn't a bad idea just to mull over it a bit.  Thoughts?

General board for soon-to-be 1Ls / GW Degree in Boston after 3 years of practice?

I'm going to GW, but I'd like to practice in Boston eventually when my husband and I have a family and all that... probably 3-4 years after I graduate from law school, we could potentially move back to Boston to settle down.

I know GW is "semi-national" so is it feasible to get back to Boston with a GW degree after one or two solid jobs in DC?  I will have less debt from GW so that is something...

OR... if I get off the BC waitlist should I just go there at full sticker?

My husband and I put our house on the market this week, he's landed a job offer in DC, and we found an apartment for July.

Things are moving along.  How about everyone else?

Where should I go next fall? / GW vs. BC

As I'm making plans to move to DC to attend GW, I'm still on the BC waitlist.  But I'm wondering about career prospects between the two schools since @ GW top 1/3rd seems to be clutch, but at BC, there's no rankings unless you want to publish them to schools yourself or something?  Seems like BC students below the top 1/3rd as much less screwed than GW students below the top 1/3rd.  Thoughts?
