LSAC and LSDAS / Help!! Should Apps Wait for LORs??
« on: October 26, 2005, 11:53:19 PM »
Hey! I have my Electronic Application done but I haven't sent it yet. I have 1 LOR already in and one of them was just sent to LSAC yesterday. Should I wait for LSAC to notify me they have processed it BEFORE I submit the electronic app or does it not matter? I'm getting panicky reading about processing times increasing. I'd like to get the main app in ASAP.

Personal Statement / Proofread my optional essays?

Can someone please proofread my optional essays for Michign? Be brutally honest!

Help! I'm desperate for a bit of hope here. I just got my Oct. LSAT score. :'(

Is there anyone that got into a school who had:
1. an average LSAT score for that school (within 25% to 75%)
2. a very low UG GPA for that school
3. undergrad coursework after their 1st degree with a great GPA

My LSAT is 166, my LSAC GPA is 2.9. I have some WE and I've done 1 yr+ undergrad level beyond my 1st degree with a 4.0, but I have this sinking feeling it's not going to mean much to the ad coms. (FWIW, my first choice is UMich) Just trying to find a little encouragement and help as I decide which applications I should bother wasting money on.

Hey, does anyone know how much weight schools tend to put on undergrad level grades AFTER the 1st degree? My UGA is 2.8, but I've had a few years WE + done a year of undergrad level since then at 4.0. any thoughts?!?! LSAT is 166 and I would love to apply to UMich.

Hey, that has been crossing my mind too. I'm living in Japan and I took the LSAT in Tokyo. I check LSD up until just before I go to sleep, and then first thing in the morning. (computer is right next to the futon)

No kidding! When I first started reading LSD I freaked out because it looked like most people were high 160s+.

I'm feeling the same thing. After the test, I felt pretty good and comfortable with my performance. I thought the test was suprisingly easier than my last few practice exams. But, with each week, and reading people's posts, I'm getting this panicky feeling. Most recently, I'm having day-mares about getting a bad score 10 points below the range I thought I was in 2.5 weeks ago. :-\

This is agonizing. I'm studying abroad in Japan. You guys are all a day behind me. I feel like I'm waiting an extra day. *tearing hair out*
