They hadn't called anyone as of last week, Thursday. (I've been obsessively checking LSN and LSD and that seems consistant.) Good question, I forgot to ask about JD/LLM vs. other program summer starters. I didn't realize all joint degree programs were summer start ??? I can't imagine there is a minimum number of seats to fill for any of them, except maybe JD/LLM. On second thought, why would they need a minimum number of JD/LLM? They still have LLM students to fill the classes.

I gave Duke a call the other day to see how things were going for summer start. It sounds like they are not expecting to call more than a few people, at the most, off the waitlist (for summer start).  :-[ About 40 people enter as summer start and there are like 50 people on the list. I really wanted to go to Duke, but I've just about given up hope on it. I fear my numbers are way to low to compete for a few slots.  :'(

I think the first deposit for summer start people was last week. I guess this means they may be starting to call people on the waitlist soon? *fingers crossed*

It's a miracle! I got waitlisted! Letter was dated 3/15, but they sent it to my old address in Japan (now I'm in Korea). It eventually got forwarded to my friend, who found it after coming home from a business trip. *whew* Now my problem is how the heck to get out there in time if they accept me...

Anyone know what size the entering 1L class is typically?

I was complete in December for the same program and WL'd a few days ago.  You should hear soon.  Good luck...

Can I ask what ur numbers are?

I applied JD/LLM with the early start date. Went complete in November, still nothing. They can't possibly have enough people for that program yet. How do they expect everyone to get it together and run out there at the last minute??  >:( Just venting.
