I haven't received my grades from the fall yet, and I really have no idea what to expect. I am preparing myself mentally for bad to decent grades. That way I can handle it and will be very happy with good grades. What are the job opportunities like? I'm preparing the necessary documents and will be on top of applications. Any help or past experience would be great. Thanks.

Most of my profs said at the beginning of the semester that quality class participation would bump you up one grade point (B to B+) while negative, i.e. stupid, overzealous, or a complete lack of participation would result in a bump down (B+ to B). Many even put it in their syllabus.

Look at it as though you have more time than people in relationships to focus on your studies.  I'm having a hard time finding time to outline right now because I spend time with my girlfriend.  It's hard to balance the time.

I got my West account today.  It's awesome.

It seems like an incredibly interesting field for those interested in sports.  Can anyone tell me anything about it.  I feel like I hear a lot about Firm, Government, and Public Service work but no one talks about this.  Any help would be great, thanks.

My biggest question is, do you enjoy the law?  Do you want to be a lawyer?  If not, get out.  Go find something you're passionate about and go after it.  If you do like it, buckle down, work hard to make a least decent grades, and network your ass off.

I'm going with option D or F for you.

Excuse me because I'm a 1L, but this seems outrageously expensive.  Clearly I don't know about Westlaw research now, but it seems like it would be impossible to maintain a practice using West instead of print research.  Can someone who knows about it clue me in on this?

Got a pc, don't you?  I've never had any trouble from the site.
