Yeah, actually they received my application this morning and am getting either a one or 2 bedroom tom. Talked to a nice lady on the phone who was helping me out.

Does anybody know how long it takes to hear back from the Family Student Housing people after they receive your application and fee?

Wow, I was actually just about to start a similar thread, because I've got a question. My mom wants to give me a watch for my graduation present, and is going to let me pick it out. I've tried on some Breitlings and some Omegas, and I'm between the two brands. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with either brand, or an opinion as to which one is "better"? From what little I know, and from what I've seen, it seems like there isn't really a difference in quality as they're both excellent watches.
Basically, I just want a watch that will last for a long, long time. Anyone wanna help me decide?
Well, I don't think you can go wrong with either but if I was choosing I would pick an Omega Seamaster. Those watches can do everything and will last you forever.

Hey guys last week I was accepted to Berkeley and am going to need to make a decision on that very soon. I have also already been accepted to Georgetown, however, I think I would prefer to go to Berkeley. I applied to various other schools but the only ones that I am considering over Berkeley are Harvard, Stanford, or Columbia. Don't really think I have much of a chance at HS but do think have a pretty good chance at Columbia.
My main question is does anybody think that in the long term there are really any distinct advantages to attending Columbia over Berkeley. I am not really worried about short term job opportunities as I already have my dream job lined up in New York and Texas for next summer.
I've discussed this with several attoneys and they seem to say that it doesn't really matter what school you go to when you attend such a top school. They pretty much said just go to whereever you will enjoy yourself the most. Wondering if anybody else out there has had to make this decision and discussed it with somebody knowledgeable on the subject.
And if it makes any difference my interest is in corporate transactional work.
Thanks for the replies and any insight you could provide.

Cartier Roadster that I received as a gift. I love this watch because it is one of the few (if not only) high end watches that you can switch the bracelets out. Can go from a stainless steel bracelet, to brown leather, to black leather (or anything else that suits you but those are the bracelets I have). Might very well be the only luxury watch I ever own. http://www.imagecows.com/uploads/060b-men.jpg
Still have my trusty Timex though for when I'm hiking, biking, kayaking and that sort of thing.

First off, Congratulations. That is great to hear.I do not know when I went complete. The only notification I got was a phone call followed by an email offering me admission. Good luck!
I was curious as to when you went complete and if they notified you by email or what not when your application was complete? Thanks and best of luck with the move..
Thanks I was accepted on Friday myself. Have you gotten the packet of information yet?
