I've seen people on other threads being sent fee waivers... is this because they already took the lsat? i'm taking it Dec. 3rd, so does that mean i will not get any fee waivers?

I attended 4 colleges, and there is only room for 2 or 3 on most applications. Can I attach more paper and still do this online through lsac?

When applications ask for other academic institutions attended... I went to two schools mainly (i transfered) but i also took a few classes at two different community colleges while i was still attending university in order to graduate quickly. Do I need to list both those colleges on each application? Also, doesn't that look bad? (look like i jumped around or something?)

I have heard from a few sources that in order to be accepted at a top school (like stanford) you have to have connections in the school. Is this true in any way? I mean, even if somebody has good scores and gpa, they still might not get in because they don't know somebody important?

I've read that you have absolutely no choice in your schedule for your first year of law school. Does anyone have an idea of what it would be like? Do you have classes monday through Friday or do you have to go really early in the morning, etc. ??

What are good schools to attend in order to have good prospects of a career in corporate law? I want to work in employment law or contracts, or something in a company, just not really litigation.

Studying for the LSAT / Average LSAT/ High GPA« on: October 11, 2005, 04:35:40 PM »
I got a 161 on my practice LSAT and I have a 3.9 GPA from a little known state school (unless you live in ca.) What are my chances of getting into stanford or berkeley? I know I will probably need a higher score for LSAT, esp. b/c I have no idea how to set up the logic games!Planning on taking a weekend class soon.
