I rewatched (yes, I'm a huge dork). It's definitely fire v. ice, which probably means Peter at some point hung out with Meredith (Claire's real mom). And I agree that Peter could probably wipe the floor with Sylar in FutureWorld (stop time and decapitate him seems like a particularly attractive option).

I'm glad the blond cop woman is gone, too. She was kind of irritating.

I'm kind of surprised that FutureSylar didn't just want to keep collecting abilities (like, for example, the Haitian's, though I guess that would have been a hard one to get, since he wouldn't be able to use his powers to kill him), instead of killing all the "specials" (whenever I say that I think of Hiro saying it, and I smile). Also, why did Matt never hear Nathan/Sylar's thoughts? And why did Peter have a scar? I mean, with Claire's healing power...

We have seen ice power, actually. Sylar used it to kill Molly Walker's dad back in Episode 2 or 3 (Molly is the little girl who Matt first heard with his telepathic powers- she was hiding in the basement after Sylar killed her parents).

I love this show. I love it. I LOVE IT.

Gilmore girls is abominable.

Yeah, I said it, and watch out, because I'll say it again.

My boyfriend would agree. I, on the other hand, would propose to Lauren Graham if I were a man. We all have our weaknesses.

Edit: Actually, I'd propose to her now. Sadly, I don't think she'd take me.

You know you're always welcome, Stan. Don't play.

And damn right GG kicks USNews' ass.

Did Gilmore Girls really say YLS was the second best law school? Awww...If Lorelai said it, it must be true. Damn. Now I really feel bad I didn't go to Harvard.  :-\

No. Thankfully it involved no stunts that could be embarrassingly referenced during a confirmation hearing. It just involved a very serious conversation between me and my stomach the next morning. Needless to say, it was NOT pleased.

Curly's dinner was the best. The end. And thank you to all your current students who dropped by, you pretty much rocked in convincing people to come there.

Thanks! I'm sure it was my amazing home cooking that made it so. ;-). I really loved meeting you. (Though I just figured out I never actually asked you for your SN during the dinner. I was apparently having too much fun pontificating on the wonders of Yale). And if the group that was here for dinner is any indication, you guys will have an awesome class. It's too bad you missed Bottega, though. It was...eventful.  :D

AL, you should have dropped in. HD and fatcat were here, along with a smattering of other 1Ls. I was somewhat intoxicated (which a few hours later evolved into VERY intoxicated). A good time was had by all.

Of course. We'll have enough alcohol for all :P.

I'm pretty sure we'll go to Bottega's for Bar Review, but if it's still early then we might hop around. Are you thinking on going to the party on Mansfield?  Entering w/z as as Beirut team?  I'm also providing some alcohol, and e-mailed the admissions office seeing if they'll pay for some. Is it just me or was the budget a little low?

I'm definitely doing Bottega. I was thinking about Mansfield, but I think it'll depend on how sober I am at that point and how cold it is outside. I suck at Beirut, but maybe Z's better. :P

Let me know what the Admissions people say about alcohol reimbursements. The email I got seemed pretty strict about it, so we'll see.

The budget is kind of low, but I think it'll work for Chinese food. Don't know about soul food, though, hehehe.

See you tomorrow night!

Hey, all, not to compete with Vee, but I'm hosting a dinner as well for those of you who are of the Chinese food persuasion. The apartment may not be as great, but there's an awesome Persian kitten and a view of some rockin' parking lots. Also, it'd give you a chance to see the Towers, which is were a lot (LOT) of law students live and a lot (LOT) of parties happen. I will also secretly give you lots of alcohol, even though I won't be reimbursed for it. How's that for bribery?

Vee, maybe we should join forces for the subsequent bar-hop. Where are you thinking of taking your admits?
