I was going to take it in October but rescheduled for February at the last minute. I had practiced, but not enough. And I hadn't taken a class. I figure that every extra point increases my chances for admission to a good school and for scholarships, so waiting a year is definitely worth it.

Why is February undisclosed? Do they re-use the questions on future tests? Or could I expect some old questions to be used on the February LSAT?

In my area Testmasters offers two schedules for the February LSAT. The early winter course starts the first week of December and is spread out through the end of January. The late winter class has the schedule you've described. I'm planning on the early winter class, because it seems less packed together.

Is anyone here applying for the fall 2007 entering class and taking the February LSAT? I'm planning to enroll in a class in December and January and take the test in February. I'm not applying to schools until next year for the fall of 2007. I know that most people wait until June, but the February test fits best into my work schedule. Does anyone have any advice about the pros and cons of February over June? Is the curve easier in one test over the other? Do law schools look negatively at the February test?

I had been planning to take the October LSAT, but I realized wasn't prepared, so I decided to wait until February to take the test and apply for the fall of 2007. But last month, anticipating that I was applying for fall 2006, I had my professors/employer write LORs and send them to LSAC. Now that I've decided to wait, do I need the recommenders to send new letters next year? Will the schools care that my file has year-old letters? Or will I just look like I started preparing early?
