Are you independently wealthy?

Even if you are, take the firm job.

Been a while since I took Employment Law but I don't believe that is correct.  Look up the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Law Review is a great credential and definitely worth doing.

I know a lot of people on my Law Review who are also at the top of their class with no jobs, but you need to give yourself every leg up that you can in this economy.

Honestly they're pretty grim even if you are top 10% / law review.  I'm a 3L at such a school and know lots of people on LR still looking for *any* kind of legal employment.

How thorough is the background check?

Basically, I did a $@it load of drugs in college.  Does this disqualify me?

If I'm applying as a 3L for the honors program, will working for firms the past two summers look bad?
