Most people in law school are very smart, but most of those people don't put in the work required to get top grades. I think that makes a lot of sense. When I entered my t2, my lsat and gpa were both around the bottom 15-20%, and I finished the first semester around the top 25-30%. I agree, putting in the work is key. Being in the bottom of your entering class does not necessarily correlate to your performance or rank within the class. 217

 I think this is a preview of the '08 model, could be wrong though. A little more $$$, but definitely worth the extra jingle. And if you're in a real law school, you're going to need a real phone, and not one of those sissy razors. I mean a REAL phone.  Yup, that should do the trick. 218

there are many factors to look at when reading those stats, and you can probably get some good info from them, but I would not base your decision solely on the graduation placement rate, especially when SU has nearly 100% of grads employed within 6 months and competitive salary ranges.
I'm currently at SU, and both schools are different in many ways. You should go check out a class or two at both schools, meet with some professors, maybe some admin and see what they have to say about their respective school. Go talk to the students. hang out in the law building. Talk to some attys in the field that you might want to end up in, and see what they have to say about each school. 220

One school that I contacted has the above wording on their site. I contacted the Dean of admissions, and she told me that they admitted 29 students last year. (i believe only 14 or so transferred out.) |
