You livin' at Radwyn by yourself or roomin'?  There's always a price difference but the one there is especially drastic, like 300 bucks a month between livin' alone and splittin' a place.

I've avoided directly dealing with people in admissions offices at all costs.  Dealt with a few obnoxious ones at other schools earlier in the admissions process and found it's not worth my time.  Though eventually I'll have to talk to the financial aid people.  Blah.

How do you like Rosemont Plaza so far?  I take it the apartments are unfurnished?

I don't think I could possibly conceive of anything worse for hockey than a team from Tampa hoisting the Stanley Cup.  GO FLAMES

Changing Lanes was fairly decent, though the ending was sappy for a movie that tense

I started to watch this.  Yes it was tense, because you can't figure out how that lawyer could be so stupid.  I turned it off after 45 minutes.

That's easy, he was Ben Affleck.

I generally wear jeans or khakis and a collared shirt.  I was told when I took the job it was business casual, but everyone else here dresses like a slob (except the boss), so I guess the emphasis was on casual.

"If you play the game long enough without changing the stakes, then the house takes you. Unless, you wait for that perfect hand, and you bet big.  Then you take the house."

"you've been practicing that line haven't you?"
"was it good?  I felt like I rushed it a bit?"

"no, it was good, i liked it."

The end of undergrad was definitely bittersweet.  I mean, consider that I (and probably 3/4 of everyone on this board) heard all my life that college was going to be the best years of my life.  Well, now that's over.  What do I have left to live for?

I'm going to miss drinking 5 nights a week, being able to find a 24/7 poker game, and convincing my adviser that Animal House is a worthy subject of academic inquiry for an honors thesis.  But at some point ya just have to move on.  I have to believe there's a lot more to look forward to.
