I'm assuming you're not looking to go this coming fall?  Cause if so, you should have received a decision by now.  I don't see any point in canceling your score, unless you did any worse than your original score.  Even if Villanova is your top choice now, keep your other options open, and not every school takes your highest score.  Your 3.68 is great for 'nova's applicant pool, so no worries there.

Thought this thread could use a little bump.  I'm up in New York til tomorrow night for the U.S. Open golf tourney.  I'll (hopefully) be checking out apartments on Friday, looking at Rosemont, Radwyn, and probably Mermont and Mermont Plaza.

I'm kinda tentative on making any bold moves at the moment though cause rumor has it University of Maryland is moving on their waitlist, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Graham, if you don't mind my asking, how did they notify you?  Phone, e-mail, or snail mail?

Depends on my mood...

Watching the game or playing poker - beer
Pre-dinner - vodka tonic (grey goose or skyy)
With dinner or at a cocktail party - red wine (cabernet or shiraz specifically)
On the beach - bloody mary or margarita
Binge drinking - Jack & Coke

Getting into a serious relationship and not ending it when it became blatantly obvious that it wasn't working.

I actually am excited about being able to answer questions with what I feel is the right answer- as long as you know what you are talking about and are able to really logically and intellectually support your argument with info from class, these answers are all in your head!  I'm excited!

Wow, you must be on drugs.  And if you're not, you should be.  ;)  I can't say I'm EXCITED to face these exams, but I will appreciate the challenge of doing so.  If you can't walk into these exams confident that you'll be able to crack them, how on earth are you going to handle working 80-90 hours a week on deals and litigation that could be worth millions of dollars to clients?

Though I do wish I could have DMD's enthusiasm for taking the exams.  I'm sure it'd help me do better.

Judy I'm still sittin' tight on the waitlist.  I found out toward the end of April.  I believe their waitlist has just started moving within the last week.

I agree that it's not time to hit panic mode.  When I entered college, the idea of writing a 60 page thesis to graduate just about made my head explode.  By the time I was ready to write it, it took very little effort at all.  As long as you pay attention in class, keep up with the reading, and DON'T GET BURIED UNDER YOUR BOOKS ALL SEMESTER and get out and keep your stress level in a reasonable range, you'll be prepared for these exams come December.

Good deal.  I actually wrote a paper this past semester on how playing poker prepares you for other ventures in life.  Not many people bought into the thesis, but I'm stickin' by my guns damnit.
