Sorry Ginatio, having seen your posts on other boards I should have known...one of those things about text and voice inflection...they don't really seem to blend.
I read Law School Confidential, which was kinda helpful if you're at one of the uber-competitive schools, which I'm hoping we're not.
And no, I don't know who took out The Paper Chase...While it's a rite of passage, I would prefer to wait until after a few classes to jump into panic mode.

Wow, I'm being called an a-hole and I didn't even take the thing out...First day as a law student and I'm feeling the love already.

I passed on the Onion because I frankly didn't feel like rollin' in by myself. Friday night though...Our day wraps up early, leaving plenty of time to go home and nap and whatnot before heading out.
Kristin, no excuses for missing Friday night!!!

So I bought books today...and wanted to cry, literally. It was more money than I spent on the last 2 years of undergrad books combined. But c'est la vie.
I also haven't heard of this entrance interview thing. Also haven't done the readings...Looked at them quickly, but don't really plan on doing anything for them til Wednesday night.
I'm not sure I like this whole living alone thing. My parents drive me nuts and I think I'd rather jump off a cliff than live at home, but after living with family for 18 years, a roommate in a crowded dorm for 2, and a fraternity house for 2, this whole isolation thing isn't really what I'm accustomed to, nor what I really prefer. Gimme a room to myself in a house or dorm full of people and I'm as happy as can be. Anyone else not really feelin' the adjustment?

I guess ol' section is gonna be a big PSU party. Fine by me.
Do you think they'll let us stick a keg in the corner of the classrooms?

Alright, finally have internet and cable TV in the apartment, which means I'm officially moved in!
So at what point do we move this discussion from the pre-law board to the Villanova section of the Students & Graduates board. Not that I think we will, but when do you suppose we're actually Villanova students? Is it at orientation? Our first class? Or when we break down and buy the "We're not snobs...we're just better than you" shirt?
Any of you other Penn Staters looking at the names on your class rosters and recognizing some of them? It's gonna be an interesting year.

I always spend a decent amount of my workout on cardio--either elliptical or rowing machine. I use weights and Nautilus and such, but they're really kinda lost on me. I'm not big, I'm never gonna be big, and I'd probably look weird if I was. I'm more interested in getting rid of the beer gut I spent 4 years perfecting at PSU.

Where are you living PSU4?
The people at Comcast for some reason had scheduled me as a custom installation, which I shouldn't be, so I was able to get that pushed up to day after tomorrow, thank God.
I believe the gym on campus is directly across from the law school building, but I'm also curious as to what the facilities are like. I don't really particularly feel like waiting around to use equipment, a la White Building. I'm going to keep my LA Fitness membership for the first month and use the one in Havertown while checking out the gym at 'nova, and if it's decent then I'll drop my LA membership, since there's no point in paying if I have free access to a decent place.
