Good news kids, 2L exams suck exponentially more than 1L exams.

Glad I'm almost done with them ;)

After loans for BS, MS, and JD, mine will be ~$1500 per month for 25 years

Gotta say I agree with all of the above...I have a BS in micro/chem, and an MS in Microbial physiology....Law is significantly more difficult than either. Not because of the actual work, but because of the workload.

Stick with the pharmD....if you really want to go further, get MPA or Ph.D. in public policy/gov't....

Not real likely, since most part timers work full time and won't have any extra time to put towards cite-checking... ::)

Nothing, at McGeorge at least. EVERYONE here has been very helpful....

You miss a class, 3 people offer notes. You miss a week? 5 people offer to help with an outline...

Now if only the CDO was worth a damn >:(

If I were you I would stick it out, and get your J.D and then go into the hot I.P sector right now, where both a M.S and J.D will land you the top jobs at places like Fish.

Gotta give a big "WERD" to this. I have a MS in Microbiology...for CS and BIO, you HAVE to have an advanced degree to do well in IP (esp patent prosecution). Stick it out, then go to law school knowing you have the ability to get a great job upon graduation!!

Current Law Students / New Web Forum..
« on: April 19, 2006, 08:49:59 PM »
So, hopefully this does not go against any of the admins here. :-X...I have setup a new web forum for law students and others alike...

It's a discussion board much like this one, but not as much focus on actual legal events/'s more of a lot of law students/lawyers/lay(wo)men discussing absolute crap from a legal minds perspective.... ;D

This is not SPAM, and we don't sell anything. Just trying to get word out. I've posted this on and through my school (McGeorge) as well....

Check it out. We're trying to get the board up and running, and a decent influx of people giving their comments/ideas/opinions can never be a bad thing...

You need to give a call to the NYBar professional review board. This should not be a problem, as long as there are no other "checks" in your past.
