Where should I go next fall? / Ill tell you where to go next fall...

TO BUSINESS SCHOOL... do not pass go, do not collect 100 thousand dollars in debt....
You are probably going to law school because you dont know what the hell else you want to do... bad move... seriously consider getting a masters degree in something and joining the work force... hell go home, live with mommy and daddy for a few years an START SAVING... i know it sounds drastic, but some (although few) Americans actually get ahead in life by SAVING money and making your $$$ work for you!!!! The American people dont want you to jerk them off so that you can get a few extra letters placed at the end of your name.
DO you want to committ your life to being an OFFICER OF THE COURT? Do you even know what an officer of the court does? Maybe this is something you shoulda looked into... Do you even know what it means to Attorn for a client? Did you even know attorn was a word?
Go ahead, launch yourself into the legal world... i know you are going to do it anyway because the type of people that go to law school arent the type of people to listen to a rant like this.
If nothing else I hope this has forced you to take a step away from you KAPLAN LSAT prep materials and your copy of GETTING TO MAYBE that you have already highlighted in pretty pink, blue, yellow, and green highlighter...
Ask yourself why you want to become a lawyer... in the off chance that it is because you want to become an advocate for people whose voice isnt loud enough.... or maybe you want to work for the government or a non for profit... cheers to you, however try to pay back 100K of debt with a 45k a year job....
Sure, go into litigation, mediation, alternative dispute resolution... sell a house, represent a bank, or free a criminal under the guise of "protecting his constitutional right to be represented by an attorney"...
Or figure out what the hell you really want to do in life and go pursue it... Dont hide behind the socratic method and lose yourself in the dizzying array of common law jurisprudence. Go be a productive member of the American work force... how do you think your ancestors made enough money for your overpriveleged, over educated ass to even be in the position to obtain a professional degree in the first place??? GOOD OLD FASHIONED WORK...
Help your neighbor, floss your teeth, do a good deed for a stranger, kiss your mother, recycle, smoke weed with your buddies....
Get up off your ass and make a difference some how... but if you think you are going to change the world by going to law school... YOUR NOT....
