Acceptances / Re: In at GW
« on: January 10, 2006, 05:08:59 PM »
In today via email. (3.36, 166)

When did you apply? Full-time, correct? Thanks.

If so, let me know so I can bring them up when I visit sometime this week. I'll post a detailed review of course. (see, I have not forgotten about the on-topic boards).

I'm thinking this will do better on this board...

Here's one to ask:

Do you plan on activating your online status check before this application cycle ends?

I've got a third letter of rec still waiting to be processed by LSAC (it was faxed in last week). Is it wise to wait for processing and then submit apps or should I submit now and email all the schools to expect the letter? Most of these schools consider the application complete with 2 LORs.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I sent my recommender his 'thank you' gift before actually receiving the letter in hopes of speeding him up. Has anyone tried this? How did it work for you?

Law School Applications / Re: Addendum question
« on: November 01, 2005, 01:50:53 PM »
If I have a good reason to write an addendum or a good reason for the discrepancy in my GPA?

A good reason for the discrepancy.  If you were just a slacker in the beginning, then that's not really a good reason

Got it. Thanks.

Law School Applications / Addendum question
« on: November 01, 2005, 01:35:59 PM »
My GPA in the last two years of undergrad is significantly higher than my overall GPA (3.8 vs 3.1). Is it okay to highlight this fact in an addendum or can adcoms figure it out from my transcripts?

In terms of difficulty, was test #32 (October 2000) one of the easier ones? Just looking for opinions.
