Studying for the LSAT / Got an email from LSAC at 8:05 tonight...

Telling me that my last letter of recommendation had arrived. :-[  I did a double take when I saw who the sender was, and then I read the subject line. Thanks a lot, guys! If you're putting in the late hours filing LORs, can't you give me my score while you're at it? I think I'm going to go nuts if the scores don't come tomorrow...

Studying for the LSAT / Re: LSAT Score Release dream #2

I've been having LSAT dreams every couple of nights. I got a 172 in the latest one, and was upset for some reason in the dream (though I'd be thrilled in real life). I think I'm going nuts...

What advice would you give to us Dec test takers? My weakpoint is the LG section and after hearing what you guys have to say about the Oct LG section i am thinking that the LSAC guys in PA may throw in a few weird games in Dec. Anyways. Do you recommend working on the RC section? Any other advice will be appreciated...Thanks

My  weakpoint was also Logic Games - I never could finish on time, and would have to guess on the last 4-5 questions. Since I was averaging about 5 wrong on the other 3 sections combined, I spent the entire last week doing every LG section I could get my hands on. It sucked, but I eventually got my time down. On the Thursday before the LSAT, I took my final preptest and only missed one on the LG, and finished 3 minutes early. That was a huge confidence boost (since it gave me my highest preptest score - 174). On the day of the test, all the games clicked for me, and I finished with 9 minutes to spare. I double checked all my answers, and corrected one mistake. I'm fairly confident I missed 0-1 on the LG. I'm also pretty confident about LR, but we'll see about RC - I may have screwed up the African American Ministers passage.

BTW, I did self-prep, read the Logic Games Bible, and took about 15 preptests (excluding the extra LG sections) Good luck!

Studying for the LSAT / Re: Employee/Supervisor Game (Oct. LSAT)

sh*t... Was there an answer choice that said "K and O for Tuesday?" ??  If so.. im screwed cuz for some reason that answer choice sticks in my head.. but I know now that that's impossible because of the Supervisor rule.

I think that one was choice E, and I put it down originally. When I finished early, I went back and checked my answers, and realized that violated the "at least one supervisor each day" rule - neither K nor O were supervisors. The correct answer was B, which was the S on monday and P on tuesday one.

University of DC

Big desks with 2 people per desk, and plenty of room. Comfortable chairs. The proctors were professional, but they took a looooong time reading the intros and collecting tests. I wasn't out of the test until after 2pm. Overall very good.
