i know you are not a lawyer, thats why u are on a lawschool board.  I am so a doctor now as I have seen er, so do not asume I am not a doctor, screw the ama and the aba   I am know a doctor

I like how you assume what lawyers need without being one.  I could assume about being a doctor.  I watch er and scrubs therefore I am a doctor via distance education.

I am know a doctor? Are you 5 years old? Seriously, do your parents know that you're messing around on adult message boards?

A lot of the fast food places are paying about $9/hr. now. Also, scrap copper and aluminum is fetching a bundle right now. Just go rip your neighbors' gutters off and sell them for some quick summer income.

Put it under the "Things I Actually Never Participated In" Section...

Yeah, that section takes up 2/3 of my resume.

or you could simple complain about it all the time on a message board.  There's other options then law school, if I didn't like what I was doing I would use my college degree and do something else with it. It's that simple.

You must not have a liberal arts degree.

You should apply Georgetown Early Action ASAP, if that's a school you'd like. Personally, I think there's no better place in the world to study law than DC. There's more jobs than you can shake a stick at. Good luck, whatever you do.

A slight chance in hell, depending on your school and pre-law school stats. If you're on the borderline, your LSAT/UGPA will probably come into play a good bit. Probably still no Georgetown or WASHU though, unless you blow it out next semester. However, all of this is only based on things I've heard.

Big firms were probably out the question for your 1L summer anyway. Just try and get a legal job of any kind, paid or unpaid, for this summer. Take a paying job in addition to it if you have to. Just get some substantive legal work and a writing sample out of this summer, and you'll be all set for next summer.

Yeah, I think he's acknowledged the need for alternative energy sources for every SOTU that he's given, AND yep, there's still HUGE oil and coal subsidies being paid. Talk is cheap, seems like the American people are just realizing this.

I want to throw something at his motorcade every time it passes my apartment building, but alas, I don't.

To go DL and pass the CA bar, you must be good.

Kathleen Sullivan, the editor of my con law book and former dean of Stanford Law, failed the CA bar.

At GW, I know 3 or 4 transfer students made it on to a journal. As far as what that ratio is out of transfers as compared to the general pool, I do not know. However, someone said that they're compared to the same cutoff that was used for the general pool of students.
