You should apply Georgetown Early Action ASAP, if that's a school you'd like. Personally, I think there's no better place in the world to study law than DC. There's more jobs than you can shake a stick at. Good luck, whatever you do.

A slight chance in hell, depending on your school and pre-law school stats. If you're on the borderline, your LSAT/UGPA will probably come into play a good bit. Probably still no Georgetown or WASHU though, unless you blow it out next semester. However, all of this is only based on things I've heard.

Big firms were probably out the question for your 1L summer anyway. Just try and get a legal job of any kind, paid or unpaid, for this summer. Take a paying job in addition to it if you have to. Just get some substantive legal work and a writing sample out of this summer, and you'll be all set for next summer.

Yeah, I think he's acknowledged the need for alternative energy sources for every SOTU that he's given, AND yep, there's still HUGE oil and coal subsidies being paid. Talk is cheap, seems like the American people are just realizing this.

I want to throw something at his motorcade every time it passes my apartment building, but alas, I don't.

To go DL and pass the CA bar, you must be good.

Kathleen Sullivan, the editor of my con law book and former dean of Stanford Law, failed the CA bar.

At GW, I know 3 or 4 transfer students made it on to a journal. As far as what that ratio is out of transfers as compared to the general pool, I do not know. However, someone said that they're compared to the same cutoff that was used for the general pool of students.

Go to Fordham.

If you're really thinking about the choice, then you shouldn't be at Harvard.

i recognize harvard's reputation in the legal world

Not just the legal world, but the whole world. You never know what might happen. Have you visited the Harvard Law campus and met some of the folks there? Go to Fordham and tell them you chose it over Harvard. Your fellow students will laugh at you because they'll think you're joking.

Do law review.

I ultimately decided to go to GW but I have to say that WUSTL probably has the best looking city campus I've ever seen, and their undergrad is like 12th in US News. Their law building is magnificent, too bad they're not in DC.
