Definitely The Library, where for some terrible reason, ALL drinks are $1.

It was me against the bar, and the bar took round 1.

Same time, same place next week, Library.

It's just enough that I have to shell out about $750 to the school since I didn't max out my loans for the year. So I can either pay the $750 to the school and get it back in a week or I can change my loans to get a bit more, avoid the entire hassle and then buy a little bit of a nicer car....

So tempting, but alas I must do the more fiscally responsible thing. I'm just going to suck it up, pay the school the money and then get it back a week later.

Go for the nicer car!

to the ut ug alumns, which gyms are the "see and be seen" gyms, so that I can find somewhere else to work out in peace?  The Anna Hiss gym looks small and close to the law school.  Is that the best bet?

On the map, there are only two gyms listed. The huge one and a small one that is on the NW side of campus.

If it's any consolation, and just to be facetious, i'll say i lost my passport over the weekend while abroad.  Let that be a lesson to you.  Always meet the Eastern European chicks at THEIR hotel.

Eastern European chicks .... <druels>

UPDATE:

I'm not sure if they bumped my order up because I called them or if they are just moving very very quickly but my books shipped out at 3 AM and I should have them either today or tomorrow.

J

Alls well that ends well. Now maybe you can start reading them like Felsen.

It's hard to get there with no ego. If I applied for Amex Black, they would laugh at me.

<points, laughs>

Can you even apply?  I thought Black was invitation only - the Skull and Bones of the credit card crowd.

Probably ... I certainly haven't been called about one.

 ::) It appears a slight sense of egotism also OWNS several self-proclaimed members of the high end customer market.
