Same here  :-\ , also invited to submit additional application material.  Will it look bad if I submit a "why penn" essay at this point?

Visits, Admit Days, and Open Houses / Re: I just wanted to say... (UMich)

UMich has the greatest admissions people. Not only do they promptly respond to all my inquiries (~1-2 days), but they are just so damn FRIENDLY and personal at the same time. I'm amazed b/c these guys must get SO many emails, being a T14 and all. The lower ranked schools I've applied to don't come close to matching UMich admin people.

Absolutely agree, hands-down best admissions staff I've dealt with so far.

Law School Admissions / Re: Jobs at Law Firms?
« on: November 01, 2005, 11:01:05 AM »
excuse my ignorance, but are there any jobs at law firms that arent lawyers, receptionists, or certified paralegals?  i graduated 4 yrs ago and am interested in working at a law firm over the next 9-10 months before going to law school.  am i wasting my time trying to find a job doing research or whatever at a law firm?

Oh, and if you have a technical background, maybe look into doing administrative support stuff.
