when you go on wednesday, if its not too much trouble, do you think you could take photos of what the interior looks like?  i haven't had and probably won't have a chance to see the rooms til i actually move in.  thanks

...lead paint?  i'd ask you to elaborate, but i'm sort of terrified to know.

fyi

the hastings newadmit website posted the following in their housing section:

"For the Academic school year, 2006-2007, all apartments at McAllister Tower have been assigned and the wait list is filled.  The Tower will no longer to be accepting applications.  Consult the Off Campus Housing Guide for additional resources."

hastings1L,

i didn't get a chance to go to housing day, although i did submit an app to live in the tower (a studio).  can you tell me what they are like so that i can have a sort of visual as to what i am getting into?  and i totally agree that vicinity is uber important.  thanks for the help!

would anyone happen to know what mobile phone carriers work the best in/around the tower and/or surrounding areas?  i'm changing my phone plan soon, and was wondering what carrier would offer a steady signal in the tower.

also, a mcallister tower rep told me that those who have sent in apps should hear back by as soon as early/mid June.
