Ive seen a few people in class using this. What are the benefits of taking notes on this program as opposed to just typing everything in Microsoft Word. What does this program have that would really be of use to a law school student?

I'm a new 1L and have had a few classes so far. I'm wondering when I should start outlining. How far into the material did you all get before you started?
On a seperate note, I've noticed that the profs have assigned a lot of reading about theory. We've read excerpts by Locke and Bentham and a lot of things like that. Did any of that matter come exam time. Has a prof ever asked you a question about what "Bentham's thoughts on utilitarianism contributed to the development of..." or "What would Locke feel about...?" Should I worry about this at all or just focus on the rules? 24

I realize that Alabama students are going to be more conservative than BOALT's. What I want to know is are the law students at your school more or less liberal than the undergraduate students at that same school.

Can any UGA students tell me how easy it is to get around Athens without a car? What are the busses like? I'm thinking about getting rid of mine to save money during law school.
