Studying for the LSAT / Kava?
« on: September 29, 2005, 01:39:04 PM »
man I just drank this stuff sold at Whole Foods as "Elix Stress Soother Kava Kava" and I am pretty damned relaxed right now. I wonder what this would do to my test skills. I think I might have to have this on Saturday AM.

Please note that my argument might be weakened if a study involving both kava and a placebo produced similar relaxing results.

Studying for the LSAT / Has anyone see Constant Gardener?

Thinking of seeing a movie after lunch. Is this a good flick? Apparently there is a dead lawyer in it...not sure if that is good or bad for the nerves.

Studying for the LSAT / A board to increase desk space??
« on: September 29, 2005, 10:59:22 AM »
I've read that the desk space at my test center is extremely small. What are your opinions of bringing a board to place over the space? I feel like this might be the equivelent of cheating or, at least, showing up wearing my socks up to my knees.

Studying for the LSAT / The comeback kid...
« on: September 29, 2005, 10:32:23 AM »
After dropping 11 on the first 2 sections of 45 last night, and quitting after being clearly rattled by nerves, I went right back to take care of unfinished business this morning and aced the last 2 sections with plenty of time to spare. Feels so good, even though it doesn't really mean anything. I have got to keep my nerve on Saturday.

Studying for the LSAT / RC in test 45? Was it difficult for you too?

It's like I'm illiterate. Dropped eight on it.

Studying for the LSAT / Getting the jitters out...
« on: September 28, 2005, 09:18:22 PM »
Well I just went to the ol' coffee shop to go simulate the nerves and jitters of the real thing. Had a donut and Dr. Pepper. Did two sections. Mind and heart was racing throughout, and thinking of pretty much everything but the test. Dropped 8 on the RC, 3 on the LR. On pace for a first diagnotic type score. I'd call it a highly productive session. Oh so helpful and confidence boosting!!! Now, for a vat of green tea.

Studying for the LSAT / Anybody ready to dominate this thing?
« on: September 28, 2005, 06:16:37 PM »
I can't wait to put the LSAT in it's place. I am going to sucker punch it, then kick it between the legs, repeatedly. Who's with me?

Choosing the Right Law School / Workman middle school is a good school.
« on: September 26, 2005, 10:22:34 PM »
Those punks from Thomas Jefferson Middle school aren't going to be prepared for high school like I am. The civics teachers at Thomas Jefferson are wayyyyyyy overrated anyways. They taught me how to vote at Workman Middle school. We pulled the lever and everything, while they were wasting their time on the Constitution at Thomas Jefferson. Those Thomas Jefferson grads are going to be wishing they went to Workman Middle.

Law School Admissions / Getting admitted and then deferring for a year?
« on: September 26, 2005, 08:49:52 PM »
How easy is it to do this? Can you just tell the school after you've been admitted that you don't want to attend until Fall '07 and it is rubber stamped, or is there an approval process, or does it vary by school? Do you have to have a good excuse? Any info, anecdotes, etc. would be much appreciated.

Studying for the LSAT / Dylan flick.

Of course, the week of one of the biggest tests in my life corresponds with 4 hours of a movie on my favorite musician. This is not fair.
