Ok here's the deal... Pick the date for when I receive my letter of admittance to G'town and you win ten dollars from me.

Some background info: LSAC just sent my report to them today (1/06) and I should be complete as soon as they receive it.

The rules:
1. One date per person.
2. Once a date is chosen, no one else can pick that date.
3. Obviously, it would be stupid to pick a Sunday, as there is no mail delivery that day.
4. Contest is void if I am denied. If I receive a deferral, all picks are void and everyone can pick a new date.

Have at it. I'll start: my pick is January 26.

Maybe this loss will give borderline candidates a better shot at 'SC.

Law School Admissions / G'TOWN

I sent a paper app to G'town around 12/14... I'm still not in their system. At what point should I call them/ send another app? Does anyone know how long it takes for them to process? This is getting ridiculous.

Law School Admissions / where ELSE shoudl I apply....???

So my stats are 3.5 and a 169 with un-impressive soft factors.

I've applied to 4 schools so far and am having trouble picking any other to apply to.  This is a problem because 3 of them are reaches and 1 is a mild target. Where would you apply with these numbers? I don't want to prejudice your opinions by naming the schools I've already applied to. By the way, I am biased in favor of easy applications.

I sent my app about 2 weeks ago...still not in their system. WTF?

I have lots of questions for you re Boalt. Please PM me. Thanks.

humdydumdydum.  Feel free to entertain me while I wait.

I bought him tix to a hockey game before he wrote the rec. Was this a no-no?

Law School Admissions / Can anyone do math?
« on: December 18, 2005, 09:26:48 PM »
I have a question: what are the chances I get into at least one of four schools when the probability of me getting into them individually is .37, .40, .48 and .68? Thanks for any replies.

Just kidding about that last part.
