It's not 12 yet.  Get your ass back to work.

I do think the orginal poster is right however, conceptually its not difficult just the time needed to "complete: all the assignments to the extend they "expect" you to is impossible.

Just let me take the damn final already

Current Law Students / Re: use of the word "sufficient" by students

You have sufficiently bitched.

Thank you.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone noticed that too many people at or in law school us the word "sufficient" in matters that are outside the realm of its legal use.

If thatís the case, does it annoy the sh*t out of you?

Its really out of hand.  You are having a simple conversation regarding going out for a beer after class and this word comes up.  I dont remember the exact conversation i was having with this girl but it was something along the lines of having 2 drinks will be sufficient for me to still get home on time and finish my assigment.

People!! the LSAT is over, i'm glad you all scored really well on it to get into this school, please refrain from using the word "sufficient" outside of discussions where it is pertinent to the legal topic.

Thank you.

I traded sex for preparation in class once.  I got called on the next class, told my professor "Unfortunately I did not analyze this case to the extent that would be helpful to our class discussion"  I saw him take out a little red pen and mark me down.  It was worth it though we only get one "unprepared" per semester.  I was professional and if he had a problem with it i'm sure he would have went off like is the case with most students

In short, you may have to be a selfish lover.

I'm at a tier 1.  We all have the same casebooks and the subject matter is essentially the same.  This is life in the first year of law school you should be and will be studying all the time.  Remember its only a year and the rewards, not just monetarily, are going to be tremedous.

Trust me right now i've just spent all my time from when i got home from my civ pro class at 2pm reading the cases in my case book (i dont formally brief them just notate), looking at the relavent information and reading that in my primer, then incorporating that into my outline.

I still have to read my contracts assignment which will take about 2 hours and will have to goto the primer for it tomorrow after class.

Also have a legal proof in legal writing due at 4:30 tomorrow but i have most of that done and can accomplish the rest of it after my torts class at 1:00.

I really just want to have 4 beers right now, go over this swedish girls house, and "relax" the rest of the night.  Can't though remember its only a year.
